# What is Spectron?

Heroic shooter Spectron is the best of both worlds: the competitive intensity characteristic of high-intensity esports game modes, while fusing Web2 quality with Web3 innovation. The game will transport players to the post-collapsic dystopia of the Ethereal Islands, where three antagonistic syndicates wage a relentless war for supremacy. The elaborate storyline revolves around individual heroes of several classes, endowed with special abilities and cursed with a dark past. Spectron appeals to a growing player base with its cyberpunk-style graphics, high-octane gameplay, and extensive esports options.
